Location was perfect

My fiancé and I booked the weekend away. Besides the lack of signage oh how to find the entrance or reception, the parking was a mission to find. When I eventually found the reception and was directed to the parking, the parking area was very tight. There should not parking bays on either side of the driveway as it is too narrow. The unit turned out to be acceptable. The part that frustrated me was requesting reception to open the sleeper couch, so that my fiancé and I could relax in the lounge area and watch a few movies, as the weather was cold. I called the reception as after a frustrating conversation with reception, it came down to - That I needed to pay an additional R400 per night, if I wanted to use the sleeper couch. This is the first time I hear of such a ridiculous rule. There are even cameras everywhere to monitor who in the building., yet this rule. why put this sleeper couch there in the first place if I cannot use it. The arrogance from the receptionist also didn’t help. I will NOT be visiting this facility again and will NIT recommend this facility to my family and friends.

Spacious and peaceful

Only one bath towel available, even though we were 2 guests. Bath stopper wasn't working therefore couldnt use the bath.

The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to make food. The beds were comfortable. The place is peaceful and quiet.

The manager treated my boyfriend and I as if we were kids. He had a foul attitude and lacks professionalism and hospitable skills. My boyfriend lost his passport and is yet to sort it out as this happened recently. As a result he could not produce the hotel with an official document but rather a copy of his passport which he emailed to the hotel. Despite the fact that the hotel had my ID which I gave them on arrival as well as the copy of his passport the manager said we could no longer stay as he needs the official document. This was extremely upsetting and the way in which the manner was dealt with was unprofessional. The baths also do not work, not sure why the apartment is advertised with a bath when they do not work. False advertisement.

The apartment was very clean and spacious.

The parking garage is not good. One single lane for in and out parking. No restaurant on site.

The location of the hotel is superb. Everything in the allocated room was perfect and working properly. The lifts were working properly at all times. we had no problem with electricity and water. We are generally happy with our stay.

The room service need to be improved. the room was not made up on daily basis. for the 6 nights i slept there the room was only made up twice. There was a urine smell in one small room meant to be the workstation room. this was reported and was never resolved satisfactory.
